Jeroen Houben is an Amsterdam-based director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed the satirical drama feature TORCH SONG, which won the Dutch Film Critics Award. Houben also composed the music for the film, which was released in stores as a soundtrack album.

His feature debut YOUR MOTHER SHOULD KNOW drew over 100.000 visitors to Dutch cinemas which earned him a Golden Film Award. Houben has also directed several award-winning short films like PLASTER, BEST WISHES and SORRY.
