REVIEWS

★★★★ “This film proves that we can genuinely expect more from Dutch comedies. A certain restraint for instance, originality, and actors that tell the story not just with words but also through their expressions. The fact that the film regularly dares to be complex and uncomfortable is a testament to the courage of its makers.” — Algemeen Dagblad

“[The film] isn’t self-consciously urban and hip, but naturally light and casual in its portrayal of a close-knit village community.”  — NRC
